The Lincoln Corsair was released in the fall of 2019 with new features and a sleeker design than its predecessor, the Lincoln MKC. The 2020 Corsair came equipped with two turbocharged engines, a 250 horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder, and a 280 horsepower 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine. Each of these options came with an eight-speed automatic transmission and provided the choice between front-wheel or all-wheel drive.
The 2.3-liter came standard with all-wheel drive. The 2020 Corsair boasts an elegant cabin with available soft leather upholstery, adjustable ambient lighting, a heads-up display, 24-way power-adjustable seats, and an app that allows users to start, lock, and unlock their vehicle. The MSRP for the Lincoln Corsair was between about $36,000-$43,000 and provided a combined total EPA-estimated gas mileage of 25 mpg with FWD and 24 mpg with AWD.
2021 brought the option of the Grand Touring plug-in hybrid model with a powertrain that consisted of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with an electric motor. This powertrain was coupled with a continuously variable automatic transmission. At the time, the price for the Grand Touring trim came in at right around $51,000. Lincoln provided the Corsair with two package options, the Monochromatic package, and the Sport Appearance package.
The Monochromatic package added 20-inch black wheels and body-color exterior trim and the Sport Appearance package added 20-inch polished wheels, body-colored front and rear bumpers, a black mesh grille, and door-jamb scuff plates with lights. A towing package and two new exterior colors, Asher Gray and Silver Radiance were added as well.
In 2022 Corsair replaced its exterior paint colors Artisan Blue, Burgundy Velvet, and Iced Mocha with Bronze Smoke Metallic, Elite Blue Metallic, and Ocean Drive Blue Metallic. 2022 brought more package options with the optional Luxury package available on Reserve and Grand Touring trims that included a heads-up display and a 13-speaker Revel stereo system.
The Elements Technology package was new and available with the Grand Touring package that included a host of updates such as LED fog lamps, rear heated seats, a hands-free power liftgate, a heated steering wheel, adaptive LED headlamps, power-adjustable seating, extra USB ports and a wireless smartphone changing pad.
2023 brought a facelift to the Corsair with a redesigned grille, exterior lighting changes, and a new wheel design. The Grand Touring trim got a satin metallic exterior trim with blue accents to help set it apart. The interior was redesigned to make it stay modern with a larger 13.2-inch infotainment screen and a 12.3-inch digital gauge display. The turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine was dropped this year as well.
Very little was changed for the 2024 year. The most notable change was the base trim was renamed to the Premier trim. The only other change was that the hands-free driving complimentary subscription changed from two years to four years long. The top-of-the-line Grand Touring trim came in with an MSRP of $55,520 this year.
